Time For a Cozy Sweater Re-Fresh
The weather is getting colder in Colorado and I have started digging out my cozy sweaters from the deepest trenches of my closet. I quickly realized that I am in desperate need of some new sweaters. The one I have pictured I’ve owned since my freshman year of high school.
So I decided to do some shopping and came across so many cute sweaters that I wanted to share with all of you. I created this cozy sweater shopping guide to make it easier to find some of the most classic sweaters that you have been looking for. Not everyone can afford dreamy cashmere so it is important to find sweaters that are soft and comfortable that don’t break the bank. Here are a few retailers that offer hundreds of options for quality made sweaters that will last for many years.
Anthropologie
Anthro is the first place I look when I start shopping. There are always so many unique styles and designs in their shop. With new pieces being added almost every week. There is bound to be a sweater for everyone. They have trendy fall colors. Trendy stars and striped prints. Plus they offer a large selection of basic crewneck, turtleneck, and scoop neck sweaters. That is good to have for all the winter and fall layering.
My favorite styles in their fall collection are the balloon sleeve, flared sleeve, and ruffled sleeve sweaters that are super trendy this year. These details give an outfit so much interest and pizazz. I will definitely have to add a few of these sweaters to my wardrobe

Everlane, J. Crew, & Madewell
Everlane and Madewell both put out a similar line of cashmere sweaters that start at just $100 making it the easiest way to cozy-up this winter. With Christmas only a few months away these sweaters would be the perfect gift for any inspirational lady in your life.
Madewell has a lot of options when it comes to sweaters and is always my favorite place this time of year. They always have my favorite go-to sweaters that I can wear every day. Even if they are not made of cashmere they are always the best quality. My favorite styles they have this year are their iconic sweater coats. The sweater coat trend is perfect for strolling around a Colorado mountain town. On a brisk fall day. The ruffled red sweater I have listed above is part of their partnership with my favorite French brand Sezane. Cherry red and ruffle details are a must-buy trend this season.
J.Crew is part of the same company as Madewell and they have very similar sweaters but they give you more style options. They always have the most feminine pieces. With lots of bows. Also, they have really cozy wrap scarves that are a super adorable way to add an extra layer.

Nordstrom
Nordstrom is the place to go for sweaters starting at a lower price point. For those gals on a budget, there are so many beautiful sweater options to choose from at Nordstrom. Plus they have the largest variety of brands that I love like Topshop, Halogen, Free People, Patagonia and more. There are a few sweaters on the high end I might have to keep my on as well for their big end of the season sales.

This is one of my favorite ways to wear cozy sweaters. Chunky sweaters and pleated midi skirts with little black booties. A classic fall combination that is comfortable and warm enough for the fridged Colorado wind. Winter is going to be here fast so make sure you have a good sweater collection before the snow gets here.
Shop the look and create your own outfit with these gorgeous sweaters and pleated midi skirts from the blog. Happy shopping.
