Traveling in Style
Traveling can be quite the ordeal that requires a lot of energy, time, resources, and planning. We all have our different reasons for traveling, which influences our outfit choices. Some travel for fun. So they can go for a more casual look of yoga pants. Or I often see people comfortable rocking their pajamas. But then there are those who are on a business trip. Commuting directly to the office so they need a powerful yet comfortable outfit to wear. One that can stand up to long hours on a plane or train. I have always dressed up nice when traveling because it was required. Even if I wanted to be one of those happy people in their pajamas on a red-eye flight. There were rules my family had to follow when flying. We all represented the airlines while flying

I have also been curious about how to put together the perfect vintage travel outfit. After doing some studying. There wasn’t a whole lot of photos to depict what women would wear back in time. On their commutes and travel adventures. But this outfit was inspired by the images I could find on Pinterest. Which you can find my inspiration by following my Vintage Style board here. Often times women would be all dressed up head to toe. A hat was always a must with many different and unique styles that women would wear. I opted for a more modern fedora, a vintage Coach hat that I found on Poshmark. A hat is always the best finishing touch when traveling. It helps you protect it rather than stuffing it in your suitcase.

Start with A Comfortable Dress
The Gal Meets Glam Edith dress was made for travel. A classic and versatile piece that keeps its shape and hardly wrinkles. I have been on a wild hunt trying to find the perfect travel dress. So when this flattering beauty hit the market. I knew it was exactly what I needed to add to my closet for many reasons. I am always grabbing this dress out of my closet. As you can see how I have worn it here and here. I may have to buy it in another color because I love wearing it so often. It looks great styled in so many different ways. Like with a warm vintage check blazer that is available to buy in my Poshmark closet. It is the perfect layer for frigid airports, train terminals, planes, and trains. Complete your sophisticated look with small heels from Sezane. Then you have yourself a modernized vintage travel outfit that will comfortably, and stylishly take you to any destination.
