Embracing Spring in Colorado
We headed to one of my favorite hiking spots over the weekend over in Morrison. The weather finally warmed up enough to start hitting the trails and I can feel summer inching closer by the minute. As we started our walk we started to see wildflowers popping up all around us. I was so excited to see these beauties again. It made me realize that I need to start heading to the mountains every weekend this summer so I don’t miss some of the best blooms and most scenic views.

Vintage Summer Style
As I prepare for summer it is easily my favorite season to dress. I love wearing free-ing linen, flowy skirts, and sandals. This vintage spring outfit is perfect for all the warm weather that is coming our way. I decided I wanted to add this colorful set to my wardrobe because I love how playful the print of this skirt is. It is a colorful and whimsical gooseberry pattern that is one of kind and really captures my playful and girly personality. I have been wanting to add more fun fruit prints to my wardrobe and this skirt was the perfect match. And as soon as I saw this vintage 1950’s linen top in the pretty spring green color I knew it would be a very loved addition that I could wear many ways this summer.

Where to Find Summer Vintage for Your Closet
I found both of these pieces on Etsy from a couple of new to me vintage shops that you will have to check out for yourself. I bought the green linen top from Ophelia is a vintage shop based out of Montreal. It has great modern vintage pieces that fit in nicely with a minimalist or capsule wardrobe. All of her items can easily become wardrobe staples and be worn in many different ways.

I bought the gooseberry skirt from Five Stone Vintage a shop based out of Singapore. This shop is a gold mine filled with all kinds of unique items from every decade. If your looking for something different to help define your wardrobe and personal style this is the place to find something unique that no one else has. Also, both of these places ship fast and the shipping cost is not unreasonable which is a huge plus!

Practical and Ethically Sourced Clothes for A Colorado Lifestyle
I am always looking for items that I can easily take on my mountain adventures and this outfit is the perfect fit for wandering the mountainside and capturing photos of the wildflowers and the natural Colorado landscape. Sustainable and ethically sourced clothing that help keep this world a beautiful place is what I am trying to be a part of more. So I hope you enjoyed my take on an ethical outfit and find inspiration to try a second-hand shop. Etsy is a great place to start if you are looking for a vintage outfit that is made of quality. And I hope these suggestions help you find a new vintage piece to add your wardrobe.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful Monday!
This outfit is SO cute! I love the pattern of your skirt.
