Delicate Floral Skirt
All summer long I have been on the hunt for a more delicate floral skirt. I realized that I often buy floral prints that are bold and colorful and then I often find myself getting tired of the wild prints very quickly. There are so many floral prints out there and the trends come and go so quickly. It is easier to go for the more simple and delicate prints because they are more timeless and can be

Choosing Styles That Are Right For You
It is important to choose carefully when you are looking for a timeless print that matches your personal style. A new trendy print is always one of the first things thrown out of our closets. If we all became more mindful about the prints we choose to buy. And pick out all the styles that haven’t worked for us in the past. Then we wouldn’t have to waste so much money on clothing that we wear once and then throw out. Mindless consumerism needs to be recognized at every level and dealt with immediately if we want to have a practical wardrobe and a more sustainable lifestyle.

My Personal Style Favorites
After buying the gorgeous delicate floral blouses from Dôen I realized how much I love wearing them all the time. The delicate floral styles are much easier to wear with more things and they feel so much more timeless and vintage-inspired. These principles are always what I am searching to add to create my most curated personal style. Since Dôen does not really create skirts in their lovely floral prints ( I wish they did) I had to start searching for vintage online and at second-hand stores. I found this gorgeous Ralph Lauren silk floral skirt for only $30 on Etsy. The cream color with the delicate red roses makes this skirt really easy to wear with many different colors. It worked out very well as a late summer outfit with a

Berry Harvest Time
We had an amazing evening harvesting raspberries and strawberries at the peak of their season last month. Garden Sweet Farms is one of my favorite places to visit during harvest season. This sweet farm has me considering moving to Fort Collins. I don’t get to adventure often up North but over time I do I want to keep going back again and again. The convenience of having so many farmers as your neighbors up there has good food within reach. Plus the mountain is right at your doorstep. And there is always something to do in a busy college town. I hope we can find our way up here more permanently one day. Maybe even to start a farm of our very own.
Read my blog post about this farm from last year here and here.
Thank you for stopping by and reading my blog! I hope you found this outfit inspiring! Let me know if you are a fan of delicate floral prints too in the comments below.
