Finding My Style Identity
Ever since I started thrifting and buying second-hand clothing I have regained more of my style identity. I think with fast fashion trends we don’t really get to establish what makes our style unique because we are all wearing the same trends while trying to keep up with the Jones’s. I have realized when I am buying one of a kind vintage that really speaks to me I am learning more about myself. The styles I choose,

Styles That Are Most Practical for My Lifestyle
As I pursue more vintage styles I have realized my style is built around the art of simple living. After living in the city and the suburbs all my life my sense of who I am had been buried underneath all of the cement and smog. I have slowly had to start to escape the hustle and I am finding myself yearning more and more to pursue a more simple life away from the hustle. When I am a part of nature, hiking in the woods, enjoying a sunset in the prairie, or gardening in the backyard I feel most alive and at peace. I want my style to reflect this feeling. Simple, feminine with elements of nature, the countryside, the prairie, and the wild west.

Western Victorian Vintage
When I discovered this vintage Victorian blouse it screamed all of those elements and I bought it immediately. I feel like this blouse is the epitome of my personality. Every delicate detail is what I want to share and inspire the world. It is a dream of mine to have an iconic style that is remembered for millennia. The victorian shape and buttons showcase my feminine side. The Western bib shares my love for the western state I live in and reminds me of the history of this beautiful state. The flower embroidery on the back keeps my love of flowers and nature close to me and shows the importance of staying close to nature whenever possible.

Where to Find the Outfit
I found this amazing blouse at an online vintage shop called Rawson. They have lots of amazing vintage white blouses and other modern vintage
