Pink Obsession
I have a long list of colors I am obsessing over for spring. Basically, just give me all the colors and I will be happy. It’s funny how you go through phases in life where you love wearing color and some phases where you would rather stay away from certain colors or even wear all black everything. I had an all-black-everything phase a few times, especially in high school.
I didn’t wear black all the time, but it was pretty often. Now at work, my uniform at the grocery store consists of all black all the time so I think that has influenced me to reach for all the colors when I am not at work. Wearing black now is absolute torture that is why you will rarely see me wearing it on my blog. Whenever I am able to have a job that I have complete creative control over my wardrobe will be a day of freedom for me.

My Pink Phases
I have gone through a few phases with the color pink too. When I was younger it was one of my favorite colors. I even had a bedroom that was lime green with a pink bedspread because they were my two favorite colors. Then I went through a period where I absolutely hated pink. There was someone that told me that redheads couldn’t wear pink and I let that get to my head too much. I am happily adding more and more pink to my wardrobe now. A spring wardrobe really cannot be complete without a few different shades of pink. One of my favorite ways to wear pink is by adding as a pop of pink over an all-white outfit.

Incorporating Spring Pink Into My Wardrobe
This pink spring outfit would be perfect for a sunny workday. I pulled out my favorite vintage linen skirt and paired it with the essential button-down that I tied up to add a little fun to the outfit. Tying up a button shirt has become my favorite way to change up a shirt. The vintage pink wool blazer is the perfect pop that is also very functional while the winter chill is still fading away. I matched the blazer with my favorite Everlane slides that I bought last year. And added another spring touch with my new basket bag from Connected Goods.

Enjoying the Start of Spring With a Little Weekend Exploring
As you can see we had fun with this photoshoot and even found an adorable bakery with the most amazing donuts. Now we have to spend the rest of the season working them off. But it was worth it. I actually can’t wait to get back to a spring workout routine with runs outside and hitting the hiking trails. I’m hoping to hit one this weekend because it
