My Knitwear Obsession
This beautiful open-knit style really caught my attention. I have been seeing this style pop all over the place and I have become obsessed. I would love to learn how to do this kind of knitting style soon. My knitting skills are not on sweater level yet so I am still finding beauties like this berry knit to add to my closet. And as I get more practice I will work my way up to this beautiful design.
I have a lot of fall sweaters on my wishlist so I have been eyeing quite a few at Nordstrom’s. The styles like the open knits, bold stripes, cropped cardigans, and basic cashmere sweaters. Are all styles I would like to add to my fall/winter wardrobe. You can shop for my favorite sweater styles with the widget above. Also, try my favorite fall/winter style with a sweater, midi skirt, and tall boots. My favorite outfit combination that I could wear every day this time of year. As you can probably tell this skirt that I bought from Adored Vintage has become a fast favorite that I have been wearing non-stop. A neutral skirt like this is a must if you’re a midi skirt lover like me. The light brown color goes with everything! Find more skirts like it with the link below or follow Adored Vintage. She always has the best midi skirts on her site in all kinds of neutral colors. If you follow her on Instagram or sign up for emails you can see all the new arrivals.
On the Hunt for Sustainable Knitwear
I am still searching for sustainable brands that sell different styles of knitwear. Most places sell basic patterns. If they do sell a fancy design with a sustainable material it is way out of price range for me. Sustainable, unique sweaters at affordable prices is a market I will have to fill one day with my own clothing brand. But if I find a good brand with reasonable prices I will be sure to share! I am always on the hunt for new sustainable clothing brands. Let me know in the comments what your favorite sustainable brands are. And if you know of a place with affordable knitwear!

Sticking to Certain Sustainable Materials
Ideally, I would like to only buy materials that don’t hurt the environment. But I am not a perfect consumer yet, just a work in progress. So I still like to find good deals at places like Nordstroms. Nordstroms has always been a place that I feel I get what I pay for. And with such a huge database of clothing, it is often convenient to shop at Nordstrom’s. Especially when you are looking for something specific. Since I am still buying clothing from major retailers that don’t have sustainable and ethical practices. But I make sure it is an item that I am going to wear often and for a long time. I am trying to keep my shopping at these retailers at a minimum. And I always check second hand and ethical brands for what I am looking for before I buy from retailers like Nordstroms.
