Did you catch my blog post Fall Clothing Worth the Investment? If you missed it, I rounded up all my favorite investments for my fall wardrobe over the years. Sharing what has been my most successful purchases and what I love to wear non-stop. I believe one of the most important areas to invest your money wisely is when you are buying shoes. If you carefully choose a pair that is timeless, well made and fits into your wardrobe then your shoes can last for many years. Here is a list of my favorite fall shoes that I have bought for fall to give you an idea of what is worth the money even if it stretches your money a bit.
Buying one pair of well-made shoes that can be worn with many different things will always be worth the money. Much more than buying 10 trendy shoes that are on sale, and cheaply made. Because we all know how fast those kinds of purchases fall apart.
1. Sezane Black Lace-Up Boots
Sezane makes beautiful clothing but their shoes are really where the magic happens. The black lace-up boots are a wardrobe staple and make for a perfect vintage and timeless style. I wear them with everything whenever I am in the need of a sleek black shoe to finish off a polish look.
2. Ariat Brown Vintage Style Lace Up Boots
I was on the hunt for the perfect vintage brown boots for a long time. When I saw these Ariat boots I knew I had to add them to my wardrobe. These shoes were unbelievably worth the money. They are extremely comfortable and perfect for so many outfits. Plus they are great walking and hiking shoes which is essential because you never know when a unexpected hike might pop up living here in Colorado.
3. Madewell Tall Suede Lace Up Boots
Madewell also has amazing shoes. The tall suede boots are an essential for staying warm. They especially look great styled with long skirts and dresses. I like owning a brown pair and a black pair of every style of boots that I like to wear. I have a black pair of knee high boots for many years. So when I saw these brown suede boots I knew they would be a good investment for fall. There are so many outfit options.
4. Madewell Loafers
Loafers are a comfortable addition to any wardrobe. I first tried wearing the Everlane loafers which are extremely hard to break in. But the Madewell loafers were comfortable as soon as I put them on. I wore them a lot last year. They look great with so many outfits.
5. Hunter Boots
Hunter boots are essential for fall especially when the rain starts to settle in. I bought a pair of tall green hunter boots last year and they are very practical for all the amazing fall adventures. Strolls through the woods, apple picking, fall harvesting, fall fests, and pumpkin patches.
