My Winter Seasonal Style: A Dôen Dress
The perfect every season dress is this Wild Berry Thicket floral print from my favorite shop Dôen Collective. The print not only has festive flowers and leaves but it also has raspberries. I have never identified more with such a gorgeous print. The iconic Dôen, western, prairie-style is unlike any brand I have ever come across. I love filling my wardrobe with these dresses because it is what I love to wear the most. My style tends to have a large range of influences. But after giving it a lot of thought I am fully aware of what styles I like and what I don’t like. Nothing feels more like me than a floral dress, lace-up boots, and fedora. Have you discovered your favorite

Winterizing A Dôen Dress
If you are a dress wearer like me and a Dôen fan than you may need help winterizing these thin cotton dresses. Try sneaking a cozy cashmere sweater underneath with some cozy tights and socks. Base layers are essential when it comes to those snowy winter days especially here in the Colorado mountains. But once you have good base layers you are prepared for anything. And throwing a dress over the winter layers makes for the warmest outfit for the wintertime. There really is nothing holding me back from wearing a dress when its cold outside. If you are interested in this dress or any other Dôen dresses check out the exclusive Net A Porter styles below. Sustainable Winter Hat from Equal Uprise
You may have noticed that hats are one of my signature accessories. I would so much rather buy a new hat than a purse. I recently found this sustainable and ethical hat company called Equal Uprise. The work together with 4th and 5th generation hat makers located in Ecuador. Equal Uprise ensures that the hats are responsibly made by workers that receive fair wages and healthcare. The wool that they use for their hats is also sourced from the same town in Iluman. Natural materials are the only things used when making these hats. And the quality is built to withstand any weather conditions which extends the life of the hat. I know I will be wearing this perfect hat non-stop.

My Seasonal Winter Tale
Visiting Rocky Mountain National Park in December was a magical thing. As we drove around the park we got lost in gusty snowstorms that would blow you around one minute. Then the next minute the sky would clear and you could see all the clouds of snow gather on the mountain peaks. It truly felt like we were getting turned upside down in a snow globe. Rocky Mountain National Park has always been one of my favorite places to visit in Colorado. I have been going up there ever since I was a little girl scout. I have so many fond memories of exploring the gorgeous scenery here. But I have never visited it during the wintertime.
It was truly special to experience a different season in one of my favorite places on earth. Places like these really make you appreciate even the most brutal of seasons. Once you can learn to embrace nature in the wintertime you will experience it at its most beautiful and powerful. This trip has made me fall in love with Estes even more and I cannot wait to return.
