I love getting festive this time of year with fall and Halloween fun. Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. If I could afford it I would go all out with extravagant costumes and decorations. But as a fashion blogger you have to stay on a strict budget and holiday fun is often a luxury. But I am still finding ways to celebrate on the cheap side, may not be as fun but there is still so much to do.
Dressing for Halloween doesn’t mean you always have to wear a costume. You can be festive in a little orange and black. Or find an affordable Halloween graphic t-shirt at Etsy or Target. Or one of my favorite places with Halloween gear is ModCloth. They have all kinds of adorable and affordable things with bats, cats, pumpkins and more. Check out my favorite items below. If you need an affordable Halloween costume, the first place I would check is Goodwill! They always have a good selection of unique costumes that are much cheaper than the Halloween stores and is a great stop for last minute costume needs.
Halloween activities that I love to do every year is visiting a new pumpkin patch and corn maze. Pumpkin patches are scattered everywhere and each one has something different to offer. Plus they are often free entry and can be fun to stroll around in. Fall festivals are often happening at these pumpkin patch farms and can be cheap Halloween fun with family or friends. Pumpkin carving is another activity that can be cheap. And if you have a little extra money a corn maze is always fun to get lost in this time of year. I try to stay away from the haunted ones, my nerves can’t handle the suspense.
